DIVISIONS
PRE-PRIMARY DIVISION
In our Pre-Primary Division, young dancers will will learn the fundamentals of ballet, fostering a love for movement through exercises specifically curated by the Artistic Directors and Faculty. Dancers will develop motor skills, enhance communication, and discover their musicality— all while propelling their imaginations to great heights. All classes are taught in a safe and encouraging manner within the beautiful studios of Premier Dance Arts of Los Alamitos.
At the Pre-Ballet level, dancers are introduced to the barre! With this newly added apparatus, dancers will further improve their ability to balance and will be introduced to a deeper understanding of ballet etiquette. Classes are 30-60 minutes in length, depending on the dancers’ level. Children are primarily placed according to age at these levels, but some consideration may be given to experience and technique.
Creative Movement 1 through Pre-Ballet 2 students take one class weekly and are invited to participate in two LABS performances per year during December and June.
