Raise the Barre!

Los Alamitos Ballet School (LABS) will train, coach and mentor young dancers to achieve their highest potential. Our state of the art facility and world class faculty will teach a rigorous, disciplined, but joyful curriculum. This training will foster a love for the performing arts and will prepare them for a professional career in dance and any other field they wish to pursue. The mission of Los Alamitos Ballet is to literally "Raise the Barre" for all children who step through our doors.

Preparatory and Pre-Professional level students will experience a welcoming and nurturing environment as they train with world-renowned faculty. The company provides excellent classical and Neoclassical ballet training in an atmosphere promoting artistic excellence and strong technique. Here, students gain the building blocks for success, whether they choose a career in dance or in another field.

New students are welcome to schedule a tour of the facility and a free trial class.

Choreography will be taught by the instructor during class time in the weeks leading up to the show for each designated level/class participating in the performance. Participation in the show is voluntary and not mandatory for enrollment in weekly classes. A production performance fee will apply for each student at the time of open registration.

*Participation is a privilege and the Artistic Directors and faculty reserve the right to pull a student from a performance for any violations of the student code of conduct.
